With Venus in your sector of relating opposing Mars in your sign, it may be that someone requires you to make a decision or commitment of some kind. However, as Mars prepares to head back into a more private sector of your chart, you may need time to think this over. It's even possible you might not decide for some weeks, but don't feel compelled to rush this.

The Moon's intense vibe can entice you to consider how to invest your resources so as to fully harness the potential open to you. Yet with Saturn, your financial planet, at a crucial angle, you may be uncertain as to your tactics. Although you might have some constructive ideas, pursuing them at a leisurely pace could help you keep a watchful eye on your prospects.

About Sagittarius Horoscopes

Sagittarius is an astrological sign, which originated from the constellation Sagittarius, and is the ninth sign of the Zodiac. Sagittarius is classed as a Positive or masculine, extrovert sign; its element is Fire and its Quality is Mutable influencing their horoscopes. Traditionally in astrology Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter affecting their horoscopes. The opposite sign to Sagittarius is Gemini. Under the tropical zodiac, Sagittarius is occupied by the Sun from November 22 to December 21, and under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently from December 16 to January 14. The corresponding month in the Babylonian calendar is Arax Kislimu, dedicated to Nergal. The Indian equivalent of Sagittarius is Dhanus. The Chinese equivalent is thought to be the versatile, opportunistic Rat, whose lunar month is 7 December - 5 January. They are thought to be compatible with Aries and Leo.

In mythology Sagittarius is often associated with either a Satyr or a Centaur (in the case of the latter, often the centaur Chiron, who taught and tutored various heroes in Greek myth). In Greek mythology, centaurs were adventurous, brave, and wise, but they were also given to brawling and uncivilized behaviour. Sagittarius is also associated with the Greco-Roman god Zeus/Jupiter and sometimes the goddess Tyke/Fortuna, as well as the Norse god Thor.

The astrological symbol for Sagittarius has a dual meaning. The first and most common is that of a bow and arrow. The second and less well-known is that of an arrow lifting up a cross-shaped burden: Representing the struggle the Sagittarius faces. Both of these meaning influence their daily horoscopes. Sagittarians have its ruling planet as Jupiter, not only one of the most important gods in Roman mythology (ruler of the heavens), but also the planet that signifies good fortune in astrology.

The 9th House is the house that the Sagittarian rules. The 9th House represents Foreign travel and foreign countries and cultures. Religion, the law and higher education. All things which seek to expand one's experience. Freedom. Journeys. This can result in greater travels predicted in their horoscopes. People born under this house have the personality traits as a natural Sagittarian.

Astrologers broadly agree that the following are the characteristics of Sagittarius: extroverted, friendly, free-spirited, idealistic, open mind, open-minded, intelligent, intellectual, knowledgeable, philosophical, creative , happy, joyful, fun/fun-loving, optimistic, funny, humour/good sense of humour, honest, truth|truth-seeking, incerity|sincere, benevolence. Negative Traits: arrogant, know-it-all, clumsy, curious, overly-curious, rebel, disregard for boundaries, restless, lustful, Peter Pan Syndrome, drama queen/king, over the top, loud and annoying. All of these characteristics influence their daily horoscopes.

As listed above, the Sagittarius has several good qualities, but with a few serious flaws. They are seen as having a duality similar to that of the Centaur or Satyr above. The Sagittarius's dual natures, that of the beast (aggressive, rebellious, sexual, free-roaming, etc.) and the higher nature (philosophical, open-minded, honest etc.) are said to be in constant conflict. The day to day struggle of the Sagittarius is represented in the astrological sign, which is interpreted by some to be an arrow lifting a heavy, cross-shaped burden and represented in their greatly varying daily horoscopes.

Ideal careers suggested for Sagittarians include: Spokesperson, Lawyer, Writer, Architect, Actor, Athlete, Business owner, Working with animals, Entertainer, Comedian, Film-maker.

Likes: adventure, honesty, freedom, intellectual compatibility, taking risks, flirting, laziness, socializing, feeling trusted, an active partner.

Dislikes: routine, being doubted, having to explain themselves, control, being forced to make promises, apathy, conformity.

Astrology is a group of beliefs about how the position of the planets impact on what we get up to on earth and how we are as people. A common assumption is that how the planets are placed can explain past, present and future events.

Most astrologers these days don't try to predict the future but instead look to the skies to reflect trends and developments. You'll probably be most familiar with Western and Chinese astrology; the first focuses on the casting of an astrological chart for an event based on the position of the Sun, Moon and planets, while Chinese astrology is all about the celestial equator. However, both have 12 signs and accordingly dictate who you are and what you're about. It's different to astronomy which is the study of objects and phenomena beyond the Earth's atmosphere although the two disciplines used to be confused.
